Eat Right with Color!

March is National Nutrition Month, which I think is the perfect time to reflect on your diet and lifestyle and check in with those New Year’s Resolutions (if you made them!)  The American Dietetic Association creates a theme for NNM each year, with this year’s being “Eat Right with Color”.  It has long been advised for people to consume foods from a wide variety of color groups for optimal health.  Eating the “rainbow” will ensure you incorporate the full spectrum of vitamins, minerals and nutrients into your diet.  Back in November, I wrote an entry listing healthy foods by color (see it here! ).  For more information and tips on National Nutrition Month and “Eating Right with Color”, visit the American Dietetic Website:
